Job summary

Dakota Refrigeration Inc. is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to perform a wide range of service-related HVAC/R activities for industrial and commercial customers.

The role involves hands-on installation, routine servicing, and supporting various HVAC/R tasks under supervision or as part of a team. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and post-high school HVAC/R training (2+ years), 3+ years of experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two+ years HVAC/R experience; service or installation preferred.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• RSES membership pursuing certificate status.
• Valid state vehicle operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine HVAC/R service and installation activities with limited supervision on or off site.
• As assigned, serves as a team member or leader for major HVAC/R service or installation jobs.
• Contributes to non-service work in support of other HVAC/R activities.
• Operates and maintains company vehicle; participates in after-hours on-call as required.
