Job summary

Custom Air Products & Services, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Service Technician in Houston to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC/R systems in industrial and commercial environments.

You will service DX, chilled water, boilers, chillers, and related equipment, including in hazardous environments, while communicating with customers and coordinating with dispatch. The role requires travel to customer sites, independent work in a team setting, and participation in an

Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of industrial HVAC systems including DX, chilled water, pressurization, and scrubber systems.
Ability to diagnose, repair, and service HVAC/R systems up to 50 tons.
Experience with chillers, boilers, steam systems, and refrigeration equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems in industrial and commercial environments.
Troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications and ensure optimal system performance.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, solutions, and recommended repairs.
Document job details including equipment information, test readings, and jobsite photos.
Coordinate with dispatch to manage schedules and ensure timely job completion.
Travel to job sites and maintain communication regarding delays or changes.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support emergency service needs (nights/weekends).
