Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a General Laborer to perform labor-intensive tasks on site at industrial facilities across the United States. You will work under the supervision of a foreman, operate hand and power tools, support other craft workers, and help maintain a safe, efficient worksite.

Responsibilities include site cleanup, material handling, and assisting with asphalt tasks as needed. A strong ability to lift, stand for long periods, and follow written and verbal instructions is

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 6+ months in an industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Shovel bituminous concrete or other material into construction area.
• Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix; excavate and fill trenches.
• Maintain a clean job site and secure tools/equipment daily to prevent hazards.
• Material handling and storage; load/unload trucks and haul materials.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to Foreman or Safety staff.
• Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
