Job summary

Norco, Inc is seeking a Production Technician to fill industrial and medical gases into cylinders, manage inventories, and ensure safe handling of cryogenic liquids and propane/propylene cylinders. The role involves data entry and adherence to procedures for quality and safety.

You will support customer needs, assist in ticket review, and perform analytical tests per established procedures, contributing to a reliable gas distribution operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics calculations is necessary.
• Attention to detail and neat record-keeping are essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with cylinders and gases is preferred.
• Data entry into computer systems for record-keeping is required.

Responsibilities

• Fill industrial and medical grade gases into cylinders following procedures and record keeping.
• Fill liquefied gases into cylinders and maintain accurate records.
• Fill cryogenic liquids into containers and vessels with proper procedures and records.
• Fill propane and propylene cylinders according to procedures.
• Answer calls and assist customers in supervisor’s absence as needed.
• Review paperwork and select appropriate tickets as needed.
• Perform analytical tests on medical and other products as described.
