Job summary

Armstrong World Industries, operating as Parallel Architectural Products in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with gas burner experience to join our manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, combustion systems, and facility systems to maximize uptime and support growth.

The role offers day shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with pay between $25.00 and $34.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training and related experience.
2 years HVAC experience.
3 years industrial maintenance experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues independently.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn and support production operations as needed.
Ability to obtain required WorkKeys assessment scores, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize production downtime.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, propane gas, and process-related equipment issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Support installation, modification, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment documentation, and spare parts inventory.
Maintain and service gas burner and combustion systems.
Support production operations to maximize uptime and throughput.
Assist with root cause analysis of recurring equipment failures.
Learn plant equipment, processes, and operations.
Work with contractors on combustion, HVAC, and energy systems.
