Job summary

The Garage Enterprises is seeking a Garage Door Service Technician in Boise, ID to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy-duty garage door systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

We offer base pay of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with a 60% travel requirement and an incentive plan. This full-time, non-exempt role emphasizes safety, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and independent work in active environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years experience servicing commercial or industrial garage door systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Experience with fire doors, dock levelers, and high-cycle door systems.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred; other manufacturer certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend repairs or upgrades to customers as appropriate .
• Participate in on-call or after- hours service rotations as required
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
