Job summary

Job description

Lawson Rigging & Fabrication/Lawson Marine Services are seeking an experienced Millwright Foreman to lead field crews on industrial and marine construction projects across the United States. this hands‑on leadership role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with project teams, and delivering high-quality work on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Lead crews performing industrial construction, rigging, equipment installation, fabrication, and maintenance work.
  • Promote and enforce safety culture through toolbox talks, JHAs, and OSHA compliance.
  • Plan daily work, assign tasks, and oversee productivity and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and customers to keep projects on track.
  • Track labor, equipment, materials, and required project documentation.
  • Mentor and develop crew members while resolving field challenges and safety concerns.
  • Travel to project sites throughout the U.S. as required.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of industrial construction, millwright, heavy civil, marine, or fabrication experience.
  • Previous leadership experience as a Foreman, Lead, or Crew Supervisor preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work safely in demanding industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging, equipment installation, and industrial construction methods.
  • Valid Driver's License required; CDL preferred.
  • OSHA, MSHA, NCCCO, TWIC, First Aid/CPR, and welding certifications are a plus.
