Job summary

Husqvarna Construction Service Center in Lenexa, KS is seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to diagnose and repair electric, battery, and gas-powered equipment. You will focus on medium to large floor grinders, dust collectors, power trowels, and related gear, performing root-cause analysis and documenting repairs.

The role requires strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge, plus the ability to read schematics and collaborate with customers, field sales, and internal teams to resolve

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equipment assembly, service, and/or fabrication
• Advanced technical education/training is advantageous
• Comfort with PCs for diagnostics and service records
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Fluent reading of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings/schematics
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair for electric, battery, and gas equipment

What you’ll work on

• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair for electric, battery, and gas equipment.
• Focus on medium–large floor grinders, dust collectors, power trowels, and light compaction gear.
• Support the Technical Services group with root-cause analysis and repair documentation.
