Job summary

Action Environmental is seeking Field Technicians in Birmingham, AL. You will perform hands-on industrial cleaning and environmental services, operating vacuum trucks, hoses, and blasting systems while following strict safety protocols.

You’ll work as part of a team on diverse projects across industries, including power generation and manufacturing, and will respond to emergency and scheduled calls. The role requires physical work, on-call availability, and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical required.
• OSHA Respiratory Protection standard compliance (29 CFR 1910.34).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Reliable phone for on-call responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on industrial cleaning and environmental services on active job sites.
• Operate vacuum trucks, hoses, and blasting systems as needed.
• Follow strict safety protocols and wear protective equipment at all times.
• Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Handle physically active tasks including lifting and maneuvering equipment.
• Work in varied environments, including confined spaces and outdoors.
• Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls, sometimes on short notice.
• Take on additional responsibilities as you grow within the role.
