Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking an Industrial Field Technician/Driver to install, diagnose, and maintain rental HVAC systems in shop and field settings across North America. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while traveling to sites and supporting on-call rotations.

Qualifications

3+ years of FIELD technical service experience.
Ability to read and apply electrical schematics and blueprints.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and repair skills across diesel, gas, electrical and hydraulics.
Excellent communication to explain issues to customers and teammates.
Safety-first mindset with a track record of responsible work in shop or field.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble and commission rental heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in shop and field.
Read blueprints and specs to ensure accurate installation.
Test, calibrate and verify system functionality and code compliance.
Coordinate with project managers and contractors to meet deadlines.
Provide clear customer service and training on equipment care.
Complete installation reports and service documentation accurately.
Travel to customer sites, support on-call, and handle overtime as needed.
Maintain safety and quality per company standards and local codes.
