Job summary

SFC TecInc. is seeking a Field Construction Technician II (Mid-Level) to join our team in Colorado. The role focuses on safely performing industrial construction, maintenance, and repair work on commercial and industrial projects with minimal supervision, while mentoring entry-level staff.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial construction, mechanical installation, structural steel, or plant maintenance and can work independently while guiding others.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial, commercial, or structural construction experience.
• Experience with mechanical equipment installation and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Welding and Fabrication Experience

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial material handling systems and equipment.
• Install pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) systems, including structural steel, wall panels, roof systems, trim, insulation, and accessories.
• Perform equipment rigging, lifting, and installation using cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment.
• Install and align mechanical equipment, conveyors, piping systems, tanks, structural steel, and production equipment.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, equipment layouts, and assembly instructions.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, equipment modifications, and field repairs.
