Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Field Construction Supervisor to lead construction oversight for industrial facilities, focusing on AFFF foam-transition and fire protection systems. The role demands extensive site travel and effective management of multiple subcontractors while coordinating with engineers, project managers, and facility personnel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction supervision, strong knowledge of fire protection systems, and proven documentation and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction supervision or construction management experience.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors in active industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems (sprinkler, foam, deluge, detection, alarm).
• Experience with scheduling, safety oversight, and quality control.
• Strong communication, Reporting and documenting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner's on-site field representative during construction activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, staffing, productivity, and quality.
• Verify work aligns with drawings, specs, permits and codes.
• Lead site inspections, document progress and deficiencies.
• Coordinate daily field activities with operations personnel and stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
