Job summary

Envera LIC, LLC in West Chester, PA, is seeking an Industrial Fermentation Technician to support medium-to-large scale fermentation operations, maintaining equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring safe, compliant production. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, teamwork, and hands-on mechanical skills in a bio-manufacturing setting.

This position offers second shift hours (Mon-Thu, 2:00pm-12:30am) with some weekends, opportunities to grow, and a focus on continuous improvement and process

Qualifications

• Experience with medium-to-large scale fermentation operations.
• Fundamental troubleshooting skills and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Background in industrial fermentation processes and lab experience helpful.
• Basic computer skills to monitor process controls and automation.
• Experience with steam systems and liquid process flow preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork across departments.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, batch, sterilize, monitor and process fermenters and related equipment.
• Operate manual and automated control systems for batches, CIP, and SIP.
• Monitor fermentation, take aseptic samples, and perform benchtop measurements.
• Follow safety procedures including forklift, confined space, heights, chemical handling, and LOTO.
• Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist other departments when required and keep 5S work areas clean.
• Pursue ongoing skill development to optimize processes.
