Job summary

BLUvera is seeking a hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to keep a busy manufacturing facility safe, reliable, and productive. You will support facility, mechanical, and infrastructure systems while minimizing downtime and assisting with production line changes and upgrades.

The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with electrical/plumbing/HVAC systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facilities/industrial/building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, and building systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
• Maintain doors, hardware, walls, ceilings, flooring, and facility fixtures.
• Complete painting, patching, and minor carpentry work as needed.
• Maintain exterior areas including landscaping, sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas.
• Identify and address facility issues before they impact operations.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate specialized repairs with external contractors and service providers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and monitor system reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with production line changes, office modifications, and facility reconfigurations.
• Coordinate vendor, contractor, and service-provider activities while ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Support facility expansion, renovation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Participate in safety programs, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
