Job summary

SCHOTT AG in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to keep our facility and equipment in good repair. You will assist with production equipment PMs, perform a wide range of repairs (low voltage electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and snow removal), and help ensure safe, well-maintained grounds and structures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-year trade school or equivalent degree preferred.
• Solid maintenance background with 3–5 years hands-on experience in industrial building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, low voltage electrical, painting, PMs and snow removal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assists in keeping the physical structure and equipment/grounds of facility in good repair.
• Assist in production equipment PMs as needed following prescribed procedures.
• Perform repairs including low voltage electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and snow removal.
• Inspect building and grounds and report issues weekly.
• Respond to emergency call-ins.
• Performs all cleaning not covered by janitorial services.
