Job summary

Teklabs Inc. is seeking a seasoned analytics engineer in Austin for a long-term contract to optimize manufacturing performance. You will build capacity and labor models, analyze bottlenecks, and develop executive dashboards using Python, SQL, and BI tools.

Strong experience with OEE, PFEP, cost optimization, and scenario analysis is essential. You will translate data into ROI-focused business cases and drive data-driven decisions at the portfolio level.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Industrial Engineering analytics, manufacturing modeling, or operations analysis.
• Proven ability to build capacity and labor models from scratch with cycle time, OEE, utilization, bottleneck analysis, and headcount planning.
• Hands-on experience with OEE modeling, Excel, Python, SQL, and BI dashboards for manufacturing analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop ROI/IRR/NPV business cases and perform scenario analysis.
• Translate complex data into executive insights and dashboards.
• Leverage FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Simio as preferred for simulation-backed decisions.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering Analytics, Manufacturing Modeling, or Operations Analysis.


• Strong expertise in building capacity and labor models from scratch, including cycle time, OEE, utilization, bottleneck analysis, and headcount planning.


• Hands‑on experience with OEE modeling, advanced Excel, Python, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau for manufacturing analytics and dashboards.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, PFEP, material flow, COGS modeling, and cost optimization.


• Ability to develop ROI/IRR/NPV business cases, perform scenario analysis, and translate complex data into executive-level insights; experience with FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Simio is preferred.
