Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Aiken ORR to optimize manufacturing systems, including plant layout, workflow, materials logistics, and process sequencing. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience or an advanced degree.

Responsibilities include leading projects, conducting cost and production studies, and supporting plant engineers with facility planning. Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

• Equivalent work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope with limited supervision.
• Establishes methods for maximum utilization of facilities and personnel.
• Conducts cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies.
• Assists manufacturing plant engineers with facility planning and design.
• May assist in establishing accident prevention measures and training programs.
• Supports relationships through communication and negotiation with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned
