Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement.
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years leading others within manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced mathematical problem-solving.
• Proven record of success with continuous improvement charters and Lean methodologies (SIXSIGMA, DMAIC, 5S).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define site strategy with the regional team and deploy Site Strategy.
• Own the base masterplan submission with the site technical manager.
• Provide data to regional/global IE to establish long-term capacity.
• Drive business change management, program development & design.
• Oversee weekly and periodic reporting to promote data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with site operations to manage Minor Capital Budget and maximize impact.
• Partner with site Operations Manager to create and implement a 1-year site strategic plan.
• Use benchmarking outcomes to roadmap best-in-class practices across toolkit elements.

Job Description:

The Industrial Engineering Manager's role is to provide strategic leadership to improve site performance continually. The IE Manager develops effective site performance measurement systems and creates major plant improvement programs that they lead and implement through the other members of the management team.

A key measure of the role is setting and continually improving plan numbers, along with developing a continuous improvement culture that empowers associates to make data-driven decisions. This role also fosters associate involvement and ownership in area management.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience within Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement
• 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years leading others within manufacturing
• Must demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, advanced mathematical problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to analyze data, optimize processes, and drive evidence-based decisions.
• Proven record of success in implementing sustained continuous improvement charters
• Experience in leading Continuous Improvement projects in manufacturing projects utilizing Lean Methodologies (SIXSIGMA, DMIAC, 5S, etc.)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholders
• Track record in leading step-change initiatives / Best practice roll-out
• Eager to analyze and inspired by maximizing value

Preferred

• Prior experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Experience leading change management

• Experience navigate complex challenges
• CPG experience preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Work with the regional team and the site to define the site role within the network, Site Strategy deployment to fulfill the site role
• Owner of the base masterplan submission with the site technical manager
• Support regional/global IE in providing data to establish the long-term capacity picture
• Drive business change - Business change management, Program development & design
• Lead oversight of Weekly and Periodic Reporting to drive a data-driven culture and fact-based decisions
• Partner with site technical manager to own small Minor Capital Budget, and strategy to maximize its effectiveness
• Strategic partner with site Operations Manager on creating and implementing 1 year site strategic plan, year over year
• Use the outcome of benchmarking to establish a roadmap to best in class across the different elements of the toolkit for the site, working with all the site teams on non-financials
