Qualifications

• Education: BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering required.
• Experience: 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Travel: 10-25%.
• Work Schedule: This position works between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday– Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
• Ensures processes meet quality standards.
• Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
• Reviews production schedules, processes and specifications.
• Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
• Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
• Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
• Prepares inventory analysis and procurement orders to address production needs.
• Designs facility layout and personnel requirements for production operations.
• Develops instruction manuals and process documentation for production personnel.
• Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
• Generates process reports.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
