Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer for a prominent East London manufacturing site to lead Lean implementation and continuous improvement, driving waste elimination and efficiency enhancements across the plant.

You will apply Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, 5S and Six Sigma, coaching teams, analyzing processes, developing action plans, and tracking KPIs to deliver measurable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean tools such as VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools across the facility.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to drive process improvements.
• Develop and analyze Value Stream Maps (VSMs) to identify waste and inefficiencies.
