Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Fremont, CA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to identify and eliminate waste in production processes, and to design efficient layouts and systems. The role centers on optimizing cycle times, capacity planning, and productivity through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements include a BS/MS in Industrial Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, with strong AutoCAD and CAD skills.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Industrial Engineering required.
Minimum 2 years related experience in industrial engineering, preferably with machine shops and box build activities.
Strong experience with AutoCAD, floor layouts, facilities knowledge.
Lean Manufacturing, project management experience.
Intermediate CAD skills for plant layouts and process-flow mapping.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, efficiency, capacity planning, and productivity.
Use data analysis to optimize performance metrics and audit capacity information.
Design and coordinate projects, develop business processes with other departments.
Develop applications to improve production metrics with management.
Support supply and demand changes with stakeholders.
Present findings and recommend solutions and gaps.
Develop reports and dashboards for data visualization and decision making.
Drive projects to deliver within deadlines.
