Job summary

Venteon is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement across General Assembly operations. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams to support product launches while meeting safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role focuses on Lean practices, process mapping, and KPI-driven improvement, with opportunities to lead cost-reduction initiatives and mentor operators in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years direct Industrial Engineering experience in automotive/manufacturing.
• Proven General Assembly experience including process optimization and plant launches.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to use process mapping and KPI dashboards to track and improve performance.
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable cost savings and measurable process improvements.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Support resolution of General Assembly issues originating from the plant, field, and suppliers.
• Optimize plant layouts, manufacturing processes, tooling, material flow, and waste management.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives targeting cost reduction, productivity, and quality.
• Monitor KPI performance and develop dashboards and action plans to drive improvement.
• Train and mentor operators and team members on Lean practices and continuous improvement principles.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing strategies and support plant and product launches.
