Job description

Everett, Washington 6+ months $42.00/Hour Contract Shift-1

Overview

Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on documenting time standards and processes to focus on production stability. This includes observing build processes and recommending process improvements through lean methodologies.

Locations: Everett, WA, Renton, WA, Seattle, WA, Auburn, WA, Puyallup, WA

The Industrial Engineering organization is seeking Methods Process Analysts (entry‑level or associate) to join our growing team located across multiple Washington State sites, including Everett, Renton, Seattle, Auburn, and Puyallup/Fredrickson.

Position Overview: Our Methods Process Analyst contractors will focus on production stability, which includes:

  • Analyzing performance to daily schedules or orders
  • Learning the production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment
  • Reducing or eliminating safety and ergonomic issues
  • Identifying quality defect trends through root cause analysis and providing recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects
  • Providing recommendations on process improvements that reduce non‑value added work which would improve cost and flow.
  • Depending on the internal and external impacts to the team, you may be building disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis to get back to the baseline plan while working to mitigate impacts to the downstream work statement and major milestones.

Our teams are very busy focused on stabilizing the current production system while looking ahead at future rate changes and introduction of new models/customers into our build plans. With so many moving pieces, improving our production system processes can be initiated and implemented by anyone, regardless of their level or years of service. All it takes is the right person who will ask questions and be willing to work with all support functions to find ways to reduce risks and improve safety, quality, cost and flow. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production‑supporting organizations and must be a self‑starter and a collaborative team player.

Describe the project/day‑to‑day activities they will be working on: We are looking for candidates willing to lead initiatives around production stabilization and sharing Business Administration methodologies applied throughout the industry. Ideal candidates would have experience with capacity planning, resource utilization, process improvement identification through lean methodologies, supply chain planning and logistics, collaborating with multiple support organizations, and developing visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity.

6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
