Job summary

Faith Technologies Inc. is seeking an industrial engineer to improve productivity and efficiency within our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience, capable of designing workflows that meet quality standards while reducing waste.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
• Experience: 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Travel: 10/25% of the time.
• Work Schedule: Works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday–Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
• Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
• Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
• Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
• Reviews production schedules, processes and specifications.
• Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
• Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
• Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
• Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders to address production needs.
• Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
• Helps to develop instruction manuals, process documentation for production personnel.
• Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
• Generates process reports.
• Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
