Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking an Industrial Product Engineer to move products from design to production, ensuring manufacturability and accurate PLM/ERP data. You will coordinate across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver production-ready solutions.

The role focuses on converting designs to manufacturing-ready documentation, supporting prototype builds, and aligning with DFM/DFA standards while managing BOMs and process data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrialization, NPI, or manufacturing/product engineering.
• Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems.
• Strong BOMs, routings, and technical drawings knowledge.
• Organized and detail-oriented with multi-priority handling.
• Strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Convert design outputs into manufacturing-ready BOMs, routings, and work instructions.
• Support prototype, pilot, and production builds.
• Ensure alignment with DFM/DFA principles.
• Maintain product data in PLM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to meet timelines.
• Identify and resolve industrialization and supply chain risks.
• Support supplier selection and oversee prototype builds.
• Manage product configurations and manufacturing capabilities alignment.
• Evaluate ECR/ECO for cost, lead time, and impact.
• Contribute to cost tracking and continuous improvement.

We’re seeking an Industrial Product Engineer to support the transition of products from design to production. This role focuses on ensuring manufacturability, maintaining accurate product data in PLM/ERP systems, and coordinating across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert design outputs into manufacturing-ready documentation (BOMs, routings, work instructions)
• Support prototype, pilot, and production builds
• Ensure alignment with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)
• Maintain and manage product data in PLM and ERP systems
• Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to meet project timelines
• Identify and resolve industrialization and supply chain risks
• Support supplier selection and oversee prototype/pre-series builds
• Manage product configurations and ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities
• Evaluate engineering changes (ECR/ECO) for cost, lead time, and production impact
• Contribute to cost tracking and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
• 5+ years of experience in industrialization, NPI, or manufacturing/product engineering
• Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems
• Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and technical drawings
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong cross-functional communication

Preferred

• Experience with complex or configurable products (high-mix, low-volume)
