Job summary

Analog Modules, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support production process improvements and workflow analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Florida.

You will drive cost reductions, design efficient work areas, and collaborate with the lean team to enhance process flow. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Industrial Engineering (MS a plus), 2+ years in production, and strong RCCA/ PFMEA experience, with fluency in English and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering; a Masters is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in a production environment.
• Knowledge of PFMEA and lean manufacturing concepts.
• English fluency; Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills.

Job description

The Industrial Engineer shall support the business in areas of production process improvement by analyzing work flow to improve efficiencies.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Work to drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions.
• Designs, redesigns or enhances work areas and layouts with respect for ergonomics and waste elimination.
• Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods and trends and developments in technology and equipment.
• Works in conjunction with our lean team to improve process flow.
• Develops and maintains management information, planning and control systems.
• Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.
• Performs time studies to level load the manufacturing process.
• Implements PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) mindset and process for our operators.
• Work across the organization to solve problems related to process outputs
• Develops, implements and communicates best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• Masters degree in manufacturing related engineering field is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in production environment
• Preference given to aerospace and defense electronics experience
• Read/Write Fluently in English; Spanish speaking a plus
• Needs to be an effective communicator, credible and decisive, possess team building skills
• Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment
• Must have analytical skills and demonstrated RCCA implementation experience
• Comfortable using MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MSWord.
• Sustained dependable attendance.
• Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
• Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
