Job summary

IFCO Group is seeking an Industrial Engineer in McDonough, GA to provide process improvements, set work standards, evaluate costs and manage projects. You will document procedures, optimize flows, and lead initiatives aligned with our service center strategy.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing and 2–5 years in automated manufacturing. CAD experience is preferred, with strong lean manufacturing skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Establish operational methods and work standards using work measurement techniques.
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes, procedures, and equipment with analysis to support changes.
  • Conduct cost studies, economic comparisons and justification analyses.
  • Optimize floor space, materials, personnel and equipment usage.
  • Support operations teams to improve efficiencies and resolve issues.
  • Lead implementation of new processes, equipment and products.
  • Initiate, plan, execute and control strategic projects.
  • Maintain site drawings for design improvements and flow mapping.
  • Deliver initiatives under the global service center strategy per Director guidance.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
