Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.## ## ## **Group Summary:**The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.**Job Responsibilities:*** **Material Flow Optimization:** Analyze current-state material movement from receiving through shipping to identify bottlenecks and eliminate waste using lean tools such as value-stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams, time studies, and line balancing.* **Material Handling Systems:** Design, select, and implement efficient material handling methods and equipment, including AGVs/AMRs, tugger routes, forklifts, flow racks, point-of-use storage, and ergonomic dunnage/packaging solutions.* **Process & Layout Improvements:** Support plant layout changes, new product launches, and workstation redesigns by defining optimal material presentation, replenishment strategies, and supermarket structures.* **Continuous Improvement:** Lead or participate in kaizen events focused on improving internal logistics, material flow, ergonomics, and delivery accuracy. Drive standard work development and visual management improvements.* **Collaboration & Communication:** Work cross‐functionally with Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve material flow issues, implement system changes, and ensure smooth operational execution.* **Safety & Compliance:** Conduct risk assessments and ensure all material movement processes comply with safety, ergonomic, and regulatory standards.
