MAHLE in Dayton, Ohio seeks an Industrial Engineer responsible for optimizing production processes and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives. The role involves using Lean methodologies and facilitating training workshops and evaluations.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in industrial engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and skills in data analysis tools like Excel and Tableau. A dynamic communication style and Lean Six Sigma certification are preferred.
Our Industrial Engineer’s primary focus is optimization of processes that match the tooling, equipment and facility requirements and provide efficient, cost-effective production lines that utilize operators and/or robotics in a mold and assembly operation. They are also responsible for contributing to the successful launch of MAHLE products and development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects and problem‑solving processes. MPS Implementer assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Facilitate training and workshops on operational excellence principles. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a MPS Implementer employs Lean methodologies and tools to accomplish business objectives. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
