Job summary

SkyWater Technology seeks an Industrial Engineer to apply data analytics and planning techniques to ensure timely decisions, fab efficiency, and high customer satisfaction. You will support capacity planning, data automation, manufacturing execution, and strategic factory planning.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Industrial Engineering, experience with modeling and statistical methods, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects. Semiconductor exposure and Tableau/ETL skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or related degree.
• Experience using modeling techniques, statistical methods and planning tools in Manufacturing Science/Production Control.
• Ability to lead teams and drive projects to completion.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

• Utilize data mining, analytics, and statistical methods to communicate information that supports factory decision making.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve OEE, Cycle Time, and bottleneck tool efficiency.
• Own functional area to drive fab improvement projects.
• Support Operations by setting factory metrics and prioritizing improvements across all shifts.
• Remove operational and tactical constraints in the factory by interacting with on-floor personnel.
• Develop and improve business processes that support the Industrial Engineering team.

The SkyWater Texas Industrial Engineer will use various modeling techniques, data analytics tools, statistical methods, and planning concepts to ensure timely decision making, fab efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Industrial Engineer will support capacity planning, data automation, manufacturing execution, and strategic planning for the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize data mining, analytics, and statistical methods to communicate information that supports factory decision making
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Cycle Time, and bottleneck tool efficiency
• Own functional area to drive fab improvement projects
• Support Operations by setting factory metrics and prioritizing improvements across all shifts
• Remove operational and tactical constraints in the factory by interacting with on-floor personnel
• Develop and improve business processes that support the Industrial Engineering team

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Industrial Engineering or related degree
• Experience using various modeling techniques, statistical methods and planning tools used in Manufacturing Science and Production Control
• Ability to lead teams and drive projects to completion
• Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years semiconductor experience preferred
• Data Mining & Analytics using ETL software (Extract, Transform, Load) - SQL, APF, Google Big Query, Oracle, etc.
• Experience with Capacity Modeling or functional area ownership to support OEE and Cycle Time improvements
• Experience with Tableau dashboards
• Real Time Dispatching (RTD)
