Job summary

Cleveland Brothers CAT is seeking an EPG Field Technician to perform field service on diesel and natural gas generators and related equipment. You will work independently with a company-provided service truck and be part of a growing team in a trusted Caterpillar dealership.

The role focuses on diesel engine and power generation service for diverse customers, with training and tools provided to succeed in the Power Generation field.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel prime power systems is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in the field and meet regulatory requirements.
• Experience with power generation equipment and related controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel/EPG generators and supporting equipment
• Operate as a field technician with company-provided service truck
• Meet DOT physical and licensing requirements and pass driver tests
• Occasionally work overtime as needed

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Position Summary:

Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar Energy division is seeking Diesel / EPG Technicians for field service positions working on diesel and natural gas Generators along with other supporting equipment. These positions allow you to work independently with a company provided service truck.

The focus of this position will be to provide Diesel engine and Electric Power generation service for a wide range of customers including Hospitals, Data Centers, Universities etc. Cleveland Brothers will provide you the necessary training and specialty tools to be successful in the Power Generation field.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair prime power and stand-by electrical Power Generators and other supporting equipment
• Meet the Department of Transportation physical examination and licensing requirements as mandated by law
• Work overtime as needed
• The successful candidate will be required to pass a driver's physical and all applicable tests associated with driving a service truck. Wide range of various working experience is acceptable to the company including Technical schools, military background and on the job experience.
