Job summary

Dart Container is seeking an experienced electrician to maintain, install, and repair equipment and electrical systems on our high-speed manufacturing lines in Dallas. You will troubleshoot using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and gauges, and support ongoing improvements.

Must have 5 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, be proficient in reading wiring diagrams, PLC programming, and NEC basics, and have familiarity with a variety of tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
• Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
• Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damages or broken components.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment.

What you’ll do…

What we’re looking for…

• Other electrician levels can be considered for candidates with more experience.
