Pyrotek, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician for our shop floor in the United States. You will build and test electrical systems, install industrial equipment, and support maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with schematics and blueprints, perform point-to-point wiring, troubleshoot components, and help improve assembly efficiency while maintaining safety. This hands-on role requires reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with maintenance

Responsabilidades

• Build & Wire: Complete point-to-point wiring and install components per schematics and specs.
• Test & Troubleshoot: Install, test, and troubleshoot components and systems for quality and reliability.
• Support Manufacturing Operations: Assist with installation of plant equipment and improve assembly efficiency.
• Work with Industrial Systems: Install pneumatic and hydraulic lines, valves, regulators, pumps, and related gear.
• Perform Hands-On Fabrication: Use tools to drill, grind, cut, bend, deburr, and fabricate parts as needed.
• Partner with Maintenance: Assist preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Maintain a Safe Workplace: Follow procedures, keep area organized, and support safety program.
• Document Your Work: Maintain records and complete required paperwork and transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Electrical Technician will build and test electrical systems to specifications, install industrial equipment, and support maintenance activities that help keep operations running efficiently. Work with electrical schematics, assembling components, and solving technical challenges.

What You'll Do

• Build & Wire: Complete point-to-point wiring and install electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
• Test & Troubleshoot: Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical components, assemblies, and systems to ensure quality and reliable performance.
• Support Manufacturing Operations: Assist with the installation of industrial plant equipment and help improve assembly efficiency and productivity.
• Work with Industrial Systems: Support the installation of pneumatic and hydraulic lines, valves, regulators, pumps, and related equipment.
• Perform Hands-On Fabrication: Use hand and power tools to drill, grind, cut, bend, thread, deburr, and fabricate components as needed.
• Partner with Maintenance: Assist with preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, facility upkeep, and other maintenance activities.
• Maintain a Safe Workplace: Follow established procedures, use equipment properly, maintain an organized work area, and consistently support Pyrotek's safety program.
• Document Your Work: Maintain accurate departmental records and complete required paperwork and computer transactions.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

Required:

• High school diploma or GED/TASC equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions and established safety procedures.
• Hands-on capability using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.

Preferred:

• Three or more years of experience building and troubleshooting electrical projects in an industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical circuits, switches, sensors, actuators, motors, grounding, electromechanical devices, and electrical control systems.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with industrial equipment and material-handling devices such as forklifts, overhead cranes, or electric pallet jacks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Your Work Environment

This is a hands-on role in a shop-floor industrial manufacturing setting. Will work around industrial machinery, overhead cranes, moving vehicles, vibration, and airborne particles. The environment can be noisy, and appropriate personal protective equipment is required.

The position involves frequent standing, walking, and hands-on work, with occasional lifting or moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds.

The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $30.00 - $38.00 + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited tojob-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posted role reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
