The role requires interpreting schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and complying with OSHA/NEC guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime and shift flexibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Licensed Electrician in SC or ability to obtain license preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing electrician experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards.
• Proficient with electrical test instruments and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures per local codes and standards.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manuals to complete work accurately.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards and ensure OSHA/NEC compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve efficiency.
• Document activities and parts usage in maintenance systems.
