Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. in Hastings, Michigan is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain automated manufacturing equipment and facility electrical systems.

You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems, work with robots, conveyors, PLCs, and support PM activities; ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyperson Electrician license preferred.
• 1–3 years industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Reads electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with low/high-voltage equipment.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Familiar with robotics and automated systems.
• OSHA/NFPA 70E safety knowledge.
• CMMS experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install power distribution wiring, conduit, cable trays and electrical services for equipment.
• Install, wire, commission, and support industrial equipment including robots and PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems to minimise downtime.
• Replace faulty relays, motors, sensors, and other control devices.
• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and verify machine operation.
• Assist with equipment commissioning and continuous improvement projects.
• Read schematics and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document repairs and maintenance in the CMMS.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
