Job summary

Philip Morris International's U.S. Owensboro facility seeks an Electrician to support maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment on the manufacturing floor.

You will troubleshoot control circuits, read prints and schematics, and ensure safe operation of machinery. Requires vocational electrical training and at least two years in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical School training in Electrical Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Experience with: control relay circuits, solid-state controls, PLCs, safety circuits, pneumatic control systems.
• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems used in industrial environments.
• Proficient conduit bending and installation skills.
• Able to pass written and hands-on electrical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of control circuits for machinery, buildings, and grounds.
• Repair and replacement of electric motors and directly coupled gearboxes.
• Troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation systems, PLCs, remote I/O, VFDs, servo-controlled equipment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Support safe and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment.
