Job summary

Watco Electrician position supports electrical systems across an industrial terminal operation, including MCCs, PLCs, motors, and conveyors. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliability and safety.

Applicants should read drawings and schematics, install instrumentation, and work with NEC/OSHA/NFPA 70E standards. A valid driver's license and TWIC eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Strong electrical and instrumentation knowledge; ability to troubleshoot.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems; safety compliance.
• Valid driver's license; TWIC or ability to obtain.
• ISA CCST certification preferred; Journeyman/Master license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair MCCs, PLC-controlled systems, motors, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues in conveyors and safety devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general electrical troubleshooting across the terminal.
• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation, control systems, panels, sensors.
• Read and interpret drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams; configure PLCs and control panels.
