Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an experienced industrial electrician/instrumentation technician to install, calibrate, and service field devices and process controls in our production environments across multiple sites.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs/VFDs, and perform wiring tasks while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, verifies operation, inspects, repairs, adjusts & calibrates field instrumentation devices.
• Calibrate and repair process control instruments and PLCs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Applies electrical theory & related knowledge to electrical systems up to 4160 volts.
• Installs and/or traces power and control wiring including conduit & tray cable.
• Performs ground checks on motor & grounding circuits and documents results.
