Job summary

Greif is seeking an Electrician for our Ohio facility to install, repair, and maintain electrical components on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate reads technical documents, interprets blueprints, and follows NFPA70E and NEC guidelines while working safely and efficiently.

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with PLCs are essential. This on-site role in our facility requires physical stamina and teamwork with maintenance staff; 2–3 years of related experience is

Qualifications

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) or technical training and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrates ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power and diagnostic tools.
• Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of industrial equipment.
• Interprets technical documents and blueprints for execution.
• Follows safety procedures, NFPA70E and NEC guidelines.
• Troubleshoots circuits, motors, drives, and transformers.
• Uses test equipment and interfaces with PLCs and controllers.
• Mentors junior maintenance colleagues as needed.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and diagrams.
