Job summary

Allied Technical Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / PLC Technician to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, pumps, and related equipment throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

This field-based role offers a Monday-Friday schedule, $35+ per hour based on experience, a company vehicle, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with motor controls, drives, relays, control circuits, VFDs, or automation controls.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• PLC troubleshooting or programming exposure preferred.
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell or SCADA experience a plus.
• Water/wastewater, municipal utilities, industrial maintenance, or field service experience helpful.
• Comfortable working independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot industrial electrical and controls systems in the field.
• Diagnose PLC, motor control, VFD, relay, and control panel issues.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to service calls and restore equipment operation.
• Perform electrical and controls repairs at industrial and municipal facilities.
• Complete service reports and communicate with customers.
