Job summary

Allied Technical Services is seeking an Industrial Electrician / PLC Technician for field work in the Greater Cincinnati area. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a company vehicle, and overtime opportunities to support critical equipment recovery.

You will troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and related equipment, reading schematics to diagnose and repair on-site at facilities.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with motor controls, drives, relays, control circuits, VFDs, or automation controls.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• PLC troubleshooting or programming exposure preferred.
• Water/wastewater, municipal utilities, industrial maintenance, or field service experience helpful.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot industrial electrical and controls systems in the field.
• Diagnose PLC, motor control, VFD, relay, and control panel issues.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to service calls and restore equipment operation.
• Perform electrical and controls repairs at industrial and municipal facilities.
• Complete service reports and communicate with customers.

Allied Technical Services is growing and looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician / PLC Technician to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, pumps, and related equipment throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys variety, independent work, and being the person customers rely on to get equipment back up and running.
