Job summary

Lucas Milhaupt is seeking an Electrician to perform a range of electrical work in manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical components and machinery. The role focuses on safety, troubleshooting, installation, and support for PLC controls and power distribution.

The candidate should have a Journeyman License or equivalent, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Must identify and correct conditions affecting safety.
• Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Mechanical incline with good problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as the top priority.
• Identify, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and systems up to 480 volts.
• Plan and complete repair or installation assignments for electrical equipment and building systems.
• Install conduit, panel boards, and related fittings for power, heat and light.
• Work from wiring diagrams and create diagrams when needed.
• Operate and maintain test equipment and controls.
• Assist engineering with design of new equipment controls and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs via interface or laptop.
• Operate plant systems including air compressors and pumps.
• Repair and maintain production machinery.
• Recommend improvements to electrical operation sequences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
