Job summary

Kokosing seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician to support production operations at asphalt plants and terminals. This role covers electrical installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Facilities utilize PLCs, motor controls, control circuits, and MCCs in hot-mix asphalt production. Work locations include multiple sites, indoors and outdoors, with routine travel to plants and terminals as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Working knowledge of relay logic, PLC controls, motor controls, and MCCs.
• Experience bending and installing rigid conduit, EMT, and PVC conduit up to 4 inches.
• Good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass company-required drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, job specifications, and construction documents.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, relay logic, motor controls, and MCCs.
• Move between plants and assignments as needed.
• Follow company safety policies and applicable electrical codes.
