Job summary

Elmet Technologies in Euclid, Ohio is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Maintenance team. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment across the facility.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong PLC troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• 5-7 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical codes and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or automated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Install and commission new equipment and support upgrades.
• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Maintain inventory and assist with parts ordering.
• Ensure all work complies with policies and safety codes.
