Job summary
IFG Southern in Louisville, Alabama, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical and automated manufacturing equipment across the facility. You will support production by minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, installing new equipment, and participating in continuous improvement while upholding safety, quality, and reliability.
Candidates should have 2+ years of industrial electrical/m contractual experience, a high school
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial electrical and mechanical experience.
- Formal electrical education or apprenticeship.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics and drawings.
- Assist with commissioning new equipment and continuous improvement projects.
