Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC systems; CompactLogix and ControlLogix knowledge preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and PLC logic.
• Experience with automated manufacturing, packaging, or processing equipment.
• Knowledge of motors, transformers, control circuits, and wiring.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems, automated production equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC processors, including input/output modules, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot motors, transformers, control panels, and related components.
• Perform electrical panel layouts, cable routing, terminations, and component installations.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and follow maintenance procedures, work instructions, and equipment documentation.
• Collaborate with production operators, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with codes, safety regulations, and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Assist with training and coaching team members on operation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as needed.
