Job summary

GE Aerospace in Evendale seeks an electrician to maintain and repair all heavy industrial electrical facilities at the plant. You will layout, modify, locate malfunctions, and repair electrical installations, switchboards, panels, test stands, and related equipment.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience in installation and maintenance of heavy industrial electrical facilities, with preferred exposure to high voltage.

Qualifications

• 2 years Experience in installation and maintenance of heavy industrial electrical facilities.
• Desire: Experience with industrial high voltage
• Must be able to work from complex drawings and instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all facilities and mechanical equipment throughout the plant.
• Layout, modify, locate malfunction, adjust and repair electrical installations, switchboards, and panel boards.
• Make up and install electrical/electronic circuits of processing and testing installations.
• Repair and calibrate sensors.
• Maintain master and building sub-stations.
• Perform electrical installations and support construction work.
• Touch up painted surfaces disturbed during fabrication or repair.
• Work from drawings, prints, diagrams, and written or oral instructions.
