Job summary

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrician for a direct-hire role in Dothan, Alabama. This full-time, onsite position targets skilled electricians with commercial/industrial experience who can read plans and install conduit while embracing building automation and controls knowledge.

The role involves wiring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with project teams to meet schedules and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Strong conduit-bending and installation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices.
• Willingness to learn building automation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Bend and install EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit.
• Plan and execute clean, efficient conduit runs on commercial and industrial job sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and construction plans.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Use electrical testing equipment and tools to diagnose electrical issues.
• Collaborate with project teams and other trades to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in training to develop building automation and controls skills.
