Job summary

Nbutexas, a leading manufacturing organization in Illinois, seeks an Industrial Electrician to maintain and improve electrical systems that power production. This role offers stable employment, strong benefits, and clear growth opportunities within a safety-focused team.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, work any shift with overtime as needed, and contribute to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; electrician schooling or apprenticeship a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or comparable electrical roles preferred.
• Ability to work any shift (8-hour, no rotation) and overtime as needed.
• Must pass a drug screen and maintain a clean background.
• Experience with AC/DC overhead cranes, wound rotor/DC motors, AC/DC drives, hydraulic systems, and large machine tool controls is valued.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Safely navigate the plant environment, including heights and uneven surfaces.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Support housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates.
• Adapt to changing job responsibilities and priorities as needed.
