Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods in Bakersfield, CA is hiring an Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems across multiple facilities. You will test motor control circuits, VFDs, PLCs and instrumentation, diagnosing faults and performing preventive maintenance while prioritizing safety.

Shift 3, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, full-time with overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. You will work with safety teams, follow Lock-out/Tag-out procedures, read schematics, and support new equipment

Qualifications

• High School/GED or 1–3 years of related field experience.
• Proven safe driving history and background check clearance.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA rules and safe electrical practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and process controls across facilities.
• Test 120/480 VAC motor circuits, VFDs and PLCs; diagnose faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, panels, relays, and wiring.
• Read drawings/schematics and assist with new equipment installation.
• Ensure Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and safety rules are followed.
• Respond to trouble calls to minimize downtime and support production.
